Operational Policies

At Skyrack, we are committed to conducting our business with integrity and transparency. We have developed a set of policies to guide the behavior of our team members and ensure that we are always acting in the best interests of our clients, both present and future, and the stability of Skyrack as a whole. These policies serve as an internal reference for our team and are made available to the public for the purpose of building trust and confidence in our business.

It is important to note that these policies may change from time to time as we strive to continuously improve and adapt to the changing needs of our clients and the business environment. Therefore, we encourage our clients and stakeholders to check back regularly for the most up-to-date versions of these policies.

Account Cancellations and Terminations Policy
Purpose: To provide guidelines for the cancellation and termination of client accounts with Skyrack Web Hosting.

Scope: This policy applies to all clients of Skyrack Web Hosting.

Policy:
  1. All account cancellations and terminations MUST be initiated by the client through the Skyrack Console using their own login credentials. Delegated access by a Skyrack team member is not permitted.
  2. The client is responsible for ensuring that all necessary data has been backed up prior to initiating the cancellation or termination of their account. Skyrack is not responsible for any data loss that may occur as a result of account cancellations or terminations.
  3. Upon initiation of the cancellation or termination process, the client may receive a confirmation email outlining the steps that have been taken and any applicable fees or charges.
  4. Cancelled accounts will generally be terminated within 24 hours and all data will be permanently deleted. Depending on the circumstances, some terminated accounts will be deactivated at the end of the current billing period and all data will be permanently deleted at that time.
  5. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all necessary data has been transferred prior to the termination of their account. Skyrack is not responsible for any data loss that may occur as a result of account termination.
  6. Skyrack reserves the right to terminate a client’s account at any time and without notice if the client is found to be in violation of Skyrack’s terms of service, however an email should be sent by the Skyrack Team, clearing outlining the breach. In some circumstances we are to offer the client a chance to remediate the issue.
  7. If the client has any issues or questions related to account cancellations or terminations, they should contact Skyrack’s customer support team for assistance through a support ticket using the Skyrack Console and their own account.
This policy may be updated at any time and it is the team members responsibility to stay informed of any changes.

This policy is effective immediately and supersedes all previous policies related to account cancellations and terminations.

Server Access Reporting Policy

Purpose: The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all team members and system administrators who are accessing any Skyrack infrastructure through root, super user, or Skyrack accounts are properly logged and tracked. This is important for security and compliance purposes, as well as for the purpose of identifying any potential issues or concerns related to server access.

Scope: This policy applies to all team members and system administrators who are accessing any Skyrack infrastructure through root, super user, or Skyrack accounts.

Policy:

  1. All team members and system administrators must fill out the “Server Access Report” form each time they access any Skyrack infrastructure through root, super user, or Skyrack accounts.
  2. The “Server Access Report” form must be submitted to the appropriate supervisor or manager within 30 minutes of the server access.
  3. The “Server Access Report” form must include the following information:
    • Date and time of server access
    • Reason for server access
    • Duration of server access
    • Any actions taken during server access
  4. Access to Skyrack infrastructure through root, super user, or Skyrack accounts is strictly prohibited unless it is necessary for the performance of job duties and has been approved in advance by a majority agreement by founding team members.
  5. Any unauthorised access to Skyrack infrastructure will result in the potential restriction of access if the reason for access is considered a risk to Skyrack clients or Skyrack as a business.

This policy is effective immediately and supersedes all previous policies related to server access reporting.
