Security update: All Skyrack servers are running patched PHP versions, protecting client sites against CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619.

PHP security update: your questions answered

Are Skyrack servers protected?

Yes. All Skyrack servers run CloudLinux and are running the latest patched PHP packages, protecting client sites against the two critical PHP vulnerabilities announced on 21 October 2026 (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619).

Why does my site show an older PHP version number?

The PHP project fixed the vulnerabilities in PHP 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 and 8.2.35. Our servers use CloudLinux’s PHP builds, which carry the same fix as a backport and keep their own, lower version numbers.

For example, CloudLinux’s patched PHP 8.4 reports 8.4.26 rather than 8.4.27. A lower number does not mean your site is vulnerable.

What is backporting?

Backporting means taking a security fix from a newer release and applying it to the version already installed. The vulnerable code is fixed, but the version number stays the same. It is standard practice for enterprise Linux vendors, including CloudLinux, Red Hat and Debian.

What about older PHP versions, like 7.4 or 8.1?

The PHP project does not release updates for PHP 8.1 and older. CloudLinux provides patched builds of older PHP versions through its Hardened PHP service, so sites on those versions are covered too.

My security scanner says my PHP version is vulnerable

Many scanners judge only by the version number, so they cannot see backported fixes and report a false positive. The reliable check is the package changelog, which lists the CVE IDs that have been fixed. If you need confirmation for an audit or a client, open a support ticket.

A home for the site your AI tool built

AI assistants and site builders are good at producing a website. Most of them leave the hosting, the domain and the email to you.

If your tool gives you the code, we can host it. Static sites are uploaded and served as they are, and Node.js apps run through the Node.js selector in cPanel. Your email, databases and SSL certificate live on the same account, on servers in a Sydney data centre.

Included with every plan

  • Static HTML, CSS and JavaScript sites
  • Node.js apps via the Node.js selector
  • Email accounts on your own domain
  • Free SSL certificates
  • Git version control and SSH access
  • MySQL (MariaDB) databases
  • Hourly off-site backups
  • Australian based data centre
AI website hosting FAQ

Questions we get asked

What is AI website hosting?

It is ordinary, reliable web hosting set up for sites and apps that were built with AI tools. Those tools usually give you code but not a permanent home for it. We host the static files or the Node.js app, along with your domain, email and SSL certificate.

Can I host a site I built with an AI builder or coding assistant?

If you can export or download the code, yes. A static export (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) can be uploaded as it is. A Node.js project runs through the Node.js selector in cPanel. If your tool only publishes to its own platform and will not give you the files, there is nothing for us to host, so check that first.

Do you support Node.js?

Yes. Plans include the Node.js selector in cPanel, where you choose a Node.js version, set the application folder and startup file, add environment variables and install packages. A Python selector is available as well.

My app uses a database or an external service. Will it work?

MySQL (MariaDB) databases are included on every plan. If your app was generated to use an outside service for its database, logins or storage, it can keep using that service from here, or you can move the data to MySQL. Apps that depend on a specific platform's serverless functions may need changes; ask us and we will look at what your tool produced.

Is email included?

Yes. You can create email accounts on your own domain, with webmail, IMAP, POP3 and SMTP, and SPF and DKIM support. Mailbox storage counts towards your plan's storage. See business email hosting for the details.

How do I get my files onto the hosting?

Use the File Manager in cPanel, SFTP, or Git version control. SSH access is available if you prefer the command line.

Which plan do I need?

A static site is small and light, so AI 1GB or AI 2.5GB suits most. For a Node.js app, start at AI 5GB for the extra CPU and memory, and move up as it grows. If an app outgrows shared hosting, a managed VPS gives it dedicated resources.

Can I get a refund if it is not right for me?

If you ask within 30 days of placing your order, we refund your hosting payment in full to your original payment method. Request it by opening a ticket with our Accounts and Billing department. Domain names, SSL certificates and licences are not refundable. Refunds are subject to approval under our terms of service.
