Business email hosting
Email on your own domain, included with your hosting rather than billed per mailbox. Set up as many addresses as your plan storage allows, and read them anywhere.
Your domain, your mailboxes, no per-user bill
Email hosting comes with every WordPress and cPanel plan at Skyrack. You create mailboxes on your own domain in cPanel, as many as you need, and they share the storage on your hosting plan alongside your website files. Adding a new staff address does not change what you pay. Mail is hosted on our servers in a Sydney data centre and is covered by the same hourly backups as the rest of your account.
Unlimited mailboxes
Create as many addresses on your domain as you need, within the storage on your plan. Sales, accounts, info, one per staff member: there is no per-mailbox charge.
Webmail anywhere
Log in from a browser on any device to read and send without setting anything up. Useful for a quick check from a machine that is not yours.
IMAP and POP
Connect Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird or your phone. IMAP keeps every device in sync with the server; POP downloads mail to one machine if that is what you prefer.
Forwarders and aliases
Route an address to another mailbox, split incoming mail across a team, or set an autoresponder while someone is away. All configured from cPanel.
SPF and DKIM support
Publish the records that prove your mail is really yours, so receiving servers are less likely to treat it as suspicious.
Backed up hourly
Mailboxes are included in the hourly backups that cover your hosting account, so a deleted folder is recoverable rather than gone.
From new mailbox to working inbox
Four steps, all of them in cPanel. Nothing here needs a developer.
Read the step-by-step guide: how to create a new email address in cPanel
- 01
Create the address in cPanel
Open Email Accounts in cPanel, pick the domain, choose the name and set a password and a storage limit. The mailbox works the moment you save it.
- 02
Sign in to webmail
Go to webmail on your domain and log in with the full email address and its password. This is the fastest way to confirm a new mailbox is sending and receiving before you set up any devices.
- 03
Connect your mail app
cPanel shows the exact server names, ports and settings for each mailbox under Connect Devices. Choose IMAP if the account is read on more than one device, which is nearly always the right answer.
- 04
Point your DNS records
If your domain is hosted with us the mail records are already in place. If your DNS sits elsewhere, copy the MX record and the SPF and DKIM records across so mail routes here and authenticates correctly.
Three records that decide whether you land in the inbox
Most "my email goes to spam" problems are DNS problems, not server problems. Receiving providers check whether the mail really came from your domain, and they check it with records you publish yourself.
SPF
Lists the servers allowed to send mail for your domain. Publish one SPF record that covers Skyrack and any other service that sends as you, such as a newsletter tool or an accounting package.
DKIM
Signs each outgoing message with a key that receiving servers check against your DNS. It proves the message was not altered on the way and that it came from your domain.
DMARC
Tells receiving servers what to do when SPF or DKIM fails, and asks them to report back. Start in reporting mode, read what comes in, then tighten the policy once your legitimate senders all pass.
Questions we get asked
How much email storage do I get?
Mailboxes share the storage on your hosting plan with your website files. If you are on a 10GB plan, whatever your site is not using is available for email. You set a quota per mailbox in cPanel, so one account cannot quietly consume the lot. If you need far more email storage than our plans carry, contact us and we will price a custom solution.
Can I move my existing mailboxes across?
Yes. When we migrate a cPanel account we bring the mailboxes and their contents with it, along with forwarders and autoresponders, at no charge and with no downtime. If your mail is on a provider that is not cPanel, tell us what you are on and we will work out the best way to move it. See how our migrations work.
Is email included on VPS and reseller plans too?
Email hosting with unlimited mailboxes is included with our WordPress and cPanel plans. Reseller and VPS plans run cPanel and WHM as well, so you can create mail accounts under the cPanel accounts you provision on them. Reseller hosting starts at $44.98/month and VPS hosting at $129/month.
My mail is going to spam. What should I check first?
Check SPF and DKIM before anything else. A missing DKIM signature or an SPF record that does not list every service sending as your domain is the usual cause. After that, look at the content of the mail itself and whether the sending address matches the from address. Our Australian support team can look at the records with you if you are not sure what you are reading.
